The Town of Porter Historical Society’s first meeting of the year will take place at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Red Brick School. Tony McKenna is the guest speaker.
McKenna is past chairman and CEO of Wendel Architects and Engineers. He has more than 30 years of experience in waterfront projects. McKenna is a past member of the Governors Great Lakes Basin Advisory Council and is a member of the Public Interest Advisory Council for the International Joint Commissions’ Lake Ontario-St Lawrence River Study. He has served as chairman of the Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce, and has been a member of the Greater Buffalo Regional Transportation Council.
