Head to a fair & find a job: AAA now hiring in preparation for fall & winter

AAA Western and Central New York is now hiring. It has a number of job openings for full-time roadside assistance drivers, contact center associates and driver training associates.

Interested individuals can even get an application at the Erie County Fair (at the AAA booth inside the Market Place building) or at the New York State Fair (at the AAA booth inside the Sleep Number building). Or simply apply online at www.AAA.com/Careers.

Fairgoers can even see AAA crews in action as the official emergency roadside assistance provider at both the Erie County Fair and the New York State Fair.

•Roadside assistance driver – Buffalo and Syracuse: Locates members and assesses the safety of the scene on arrival to ensure that the vehicle is in a safe location; greets members and takes action, as necessary, to deal with their emotional state in addition to handling the technical aspects of the situation; tows disabled vehicles to repair facilities or other member-requested destinations, provides a boost, jump starts, flat tire replacement and/or vehicle entry.

•Contact Center Associate – Buffalo and Syracuse: Provides engaging and friendly telephone service; understands AAA products and services to ensure quality service delivery to members/customers; and actively sells AAA membership and/or products and services.

Driver Training – Buffalo and Rochester: AAA is looking for defensive driving course instructors and in-car driving instructors.
