That’s a wrap! Nothing further to report.
At Monday night’s Town of Wheatfield Town Board meeting, Assessor Brigette Grawe called it a career.
The board made sure her success didn’t go unrecognized, though, as Supervisor Don MacSwan issued and read a proclamation for Grawe’s 30 years of service to Wheatfield. Grawe was greeted with an ovation from the heftily attended meeting.
“I’ve known Brigette for years when I was building inspector,” MacSwan said. “I consider Brigette a great friend, as well as a great employee of the Town of Wheatfield.”
During the proclamation, MacSwan added, “Brigette Grawe has showed dedication and commitment to (the) town and its residents throughout her career. (She) has worked tirelessly for the residents of the Town of Wheatfield.”
MacSwan and the board then thanked Grawe for her years of service, and wished her the best in the future.
