This past weekend, thousands of people stormed to Gratwick Riverside Park in North Tonawanda to see and hear the roars of the Thunder on the Niagara.
The 14th annual boat racing series entertained spectators on the Niagara River, Gratwick Park and even Grand Island.
The show, widely known as “the fastest show on water,” featured over 70 boat race teams and hydroplanes, which glided along the river at approximately 170 miles per hour.
Teams came to compete from across the United States and Canada.
