Annual OUN bartending event scheduled

Proceeds to benefit individuals with developmental disabilities

Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara Foundation’s “Celebrity Bartending – Battle of the Businesses” event will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Brickyard Brewing Company, 432 Center St., Lewiston. The event will benefit the more than 600 individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities supported by Intandem, formerly Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara.

This year will feature a “Battle of the Businesses” component, as local industries compete against one another for the most money raised. Participants will come from the Niagara Falls Fire Department, ChrisFit Personal Training and The Tip Club of Buffalo. Rich “Bull” Gaenzler will emcee the event, while entertainment will be provided by Chris Borgatti & Friends.

Tickets includes admission, entertainment and buffet. There will also be a basket auction and other special drawings attendees can participate in during the evening.
