Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls opens Vans store

Opening coincides with back-to-school celebration 

Vans, the iconic action sports footwear and lifestyle brand, is making its debut at Macerich’s Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA with a grand opening on Thursday, Aug. 1 – just in time for back-to-school shopping.

The new store measures 4,332 square feet and is located near the Polo Ralph Lauren store, most easily accessible from entrances 1 or 7.

This California-based company was founded in 1966 as a deck shoe company, but quickly gained fame among West Coast surfers and skateboarders. Vans is widely known for its performance footwear and popular skate culture apparel and accessories. The company promotes creative self-expression in youth culture across action sports, art, music and street culture, and delivers progressive platforms such as the Vans Park Series, Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, Vans Pool Party, Vans Custom Culture, and Vans’ cultural hub and international music venue, House of Vans.

To gear up for the new school year, from Aug. 2 to Sept. 2, Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls will be running a school supply donation drive to help gather supplies needed for the children of the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club. Together, the two organizations will work to provide backpacks filled with supplies to the children of the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club programs. When shoppers drop off donations to Fashion Outlets’ guest services desk, they will receive a free savings pass ($5 value), a free Applebee’s appetizer coupon ($9 value), a free tea of the day from DAVIDsTEA, and special retailer coupons (based on availability).
