Wheatfield Seniors trips

The following is a list of trips that Wheatfield Seniors will be taking in the coming months. 

July 17 – The group will take a mystery trip from 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. The trip costs $60 with sign up. 

Aug. 13 – Buffalo River Queen and Silos: This trip includes a visit to the Buffalo History Museum, a cruise on the Buffalo River, tour of the silos and lunch at Pearl Street Brewery & Grill. Attendees will have their choice of pot roast, a fish fry or grilled chicken breast to eat. The trip runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and $80 is due by July 12. 

Sep. 10 – Band Anastazja: Attendees will visit the Made in America store, listen to entertainment by the Band Anastazja (including gospel, folk and traditional American music), and lunch at the Iron Kettle. Those interested can register for $68 no later than Aug. 16. This trip runs from 9:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Oct. 15 – Amish Harvest: This seniors trip will take attendees to the Amish area of Middlefield, Ohio. The adventure from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. includes visits to Amish homes, a cheese factory, fruit farm and general store. Lunch will be Amish home cooking. Registration is $80 and due by Sep. 20. 

Dec. 2-4 – “Miracle of Christmas”: Attendees will travel to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to witness the story that’s central to the season at Sight and Sound Theatre. The trip will include a presentation of “Joy to the World” at the American Music Theatre, and visits to the Hershey’s Chocolate World and Kitchen Kettle Village. The cost is $424 and is inclusive to all lodging, meals, tickets and transportation.
