On Saturday, June 8, the Town of Niagara will host its third Trash to Treasure event in Veterans Memorial Community Park, 7000 Joe Rotella Way.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., fun awaits, as the park will also host a classic car show and concert, food trucks, as well as a flea market and craft vendors.
The Town of Niagara Recreation website said, “Treasures await you in the Town of Niagara! Imagine dozens of garage sales all in one place, so you don’t have to drive all over from sale to sale. The Town of Niagara is encouraging residents to participate in the Town of Niagara Trash to Treasure event. ”
The event is free to Town of Niagara residents who register. Non-residents and crafters must pay a small fee. Those interested in the Trash to Treasure event must apply to reserve a spot.
Setup begins at 7 a.m. and all vendors must be set up by 8:30 a.m.
Live music will be provided by JJ Swing starting at 11 a.m.
Those interested in participating in the classic car show are recommended to pre-register for the event. Gates open at 7 a.m. and cars wishing to be judged must be registered and parked by 10 a.m. The award ceremony will take place at 1 a.m. Classes of cars include pre-1960s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980-present, Corvettes, and muscle cars.
Of the event, Supervisor Lee Wallace said, “I am very excited about our annual Trash to Treasure event, which takes place this coming Saturday, June 8. The addition of our classic car show and a free concert featuring JJ Swing should make this years’ event our best ever!”
