In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Towne Automotive Group announced it is holding a special sales promotion during the month of June to benefit FeedMore WNY. Towne Automotive Group will donate a portion of the proceeds from every vehicle sold during the promotion to the new nonprofit organization formed when Meals on Wheels for WNY and the Food Bank of WNY joined forces earlier this year.

The proceeds will help FeedMore WNY provide nutritious food and support to the thousands of children, families, seniors and veterans who rely on its critical hunger-relief programs.

“Towne Automotive Group has been a proud member of the Western New York community since the day we opened our doors in 1969. While we have grown tremendously during the past 50 years, we still operate a family business that strives to take care of our employees, our customers, our business associates and our community,” said Frank Downing Jr., president of Town Automotive Group. “We are honored to celebrate this momentous occasion with our friends at FeedMore WNY, and we are pleased to offer this promotion in order to help feed our hungry community members.”

“We are grateful for the generosity of Towne Automotive Group, and we are honored to be a part of its 50th anniversary celebration,” said Anne McKenna, chief communications officer for FeedMore WNY. “Through the support of partners like Towne Automotive Group and the compassion of our community members, FeedMore WNY is able to continue its mission of offering dignity, hope and a brighter future to our Western New York neighbors in need.”
