The Lewiston Police Department recently received a donation from the Niagara River Anglers Association. The two groups worked together as part of the recent Lewiston Smelt Festival at Academy Park.

They are joined by LPD K-9 Shadow -- who will directly benefit from the funding -- as well as Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce Event and Membership Manager Caitlin Fager. The chamber organized and promoted the event, in tandem with the Anglers Association.
