The Aquarium of Niagara is looking for runners and walkers to participate in its fourth annual Sea Lion Rescue Run 5K. The event supports the care of the aquarium’s 10 rescued sea lions and seals, which have been deemed non-releasable/unable to survive in the wild.

The family-friendly 5K will take place on Saturday, June 8, on a certified course at the picturesque Whirlpool State Park in Niagara Falls.

Participants get free, same-day admission to the Aquarium of Niagara, where there will be an afterparty featuring live music by Mark Mazur and the Little Big Band, awards ceremony and sea lion show. Race winners will receive awards painted by the sea lions!
