For those interested in voting in the Niagara County June 25 primary election this year, the last day to register is Friday, May 30.
The Board of Elections will be open at 7 p.m. on Thursday, for the purpose of registering those persons not already registered. Normal office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Additionally, voter registration forms are available at all post offices, most banks, public libraries, town and city halls, and the Board of Elections at 111 Main St., Suite 100, Lockport. Anyone who has moved since voting last must re-register to be eligible.
Those who will be out of the county on Election Day can apply for an absentee ballot by calling 716-438-4042 or 716-438-4043.
