The Niagara Falls Volunteer Hall of Fame is seeking nominations of outstanding volunteers for induction in 2019. Launched in 2017 via collaboration between Niagara University’s ReNU Niagara program, Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster, and Congressman Brian Higgins, the Hall of Fame honors, documents and recognizes significant volunteer efforts by individuals who have been long-term contributors toward community improvement.

Nominees must have a minimum of 15 years of community service, during which they were residents of the City of Niagara Falls, to qualify for selection. Judging criteria will include the nominee’s role in improving their community, the impact they have made, and the inspiration they have provided to others.

Youth volunteers under the age of 18 who are residents of Niagara Falls and are currently serving in their community may also be nominated for the inaugural GenNext Award.
