The Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy is holding a free information session for people interested in learning more about becoming a police officer. The session takes place at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6, in the Marion House on the Niagara University campus.

Attendees will be able to ask questions, meet the police academy co-directors, and hear from current recruits and past graduates. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged; call 716-286-8189 or email [email protected].

Participants in the academy will learn up-to-date regulations, procedures, and the latest defensive tactics, and earn a basic certificate that qualifies them for employment in the field of law enforcement upon successful completion.
