A unique running event hosted by Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and UBMD Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is now accepting registrations from runners and walkers of all ages. The Niagara EDGE 5K/10K Run and 1 Mile Walk will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 19, at the Summit Healthplex, 6934 Williams Road, Niagara Falls.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the UBMD Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Concussion Clinic research as well as Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center's athletic training, physical therapy and dietitian programs.
The entry fee is $35 for the 10K run, $25 for the 5K run or $20 for the 1-mile walk for those who register before May 17. Registration includes a Dri-FIT shirt, food, beverages and the Caribbean Flava food truck for an additional cost.
There will be awards for top finishers in multiple age categories, as well as for overall winners.
