Niagara Falls City Councilman Chris Voccio will lead hikes along the Niagara River Gorge at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8.
“We had great summer and fall foliage hikes last year,” Voccio said. “The June hike will be accessible for most people in decent physical condition. We’re not going down the stairs to the base of the Gorge for this hike.”
Hikers should meet Voccio at the Whirlpool State Park main shelter at 2 p.m. The hike will travel along the rim of the gorge to Devil’s Hole State Park and back. The hike should take a total of one to two hours.
