Lewiston Highway Department to begin micro-paving

The Town of Lewiston Highway Department announced it would begin micro-paving on a number of roads throughout the town, starting the week of May 13.

Included are River Walk Drive, River Walk Drive South, Rivermist Court, Thornwood Drive, Autumn Lane, Stacy Court, Raymond Drive (between Sara Drive and Laurent Court), Powell Lane, Michelle Court, Mary Lane, Mountain View Drive (west of Route 104) and Mountain View Drive (east of Route 104 to Country Club Train, the stone driveway).

Also, Mountain View Drive (Forest Road to the cul-de-sac), Woodland Drive, Forest Road, Hillside Drive, Orchard Drive, Meadow Road, Cliff Street, Sullivan Court, Kline Road, Stoltz Road and Bridgeman Road.

“The process is a double overlay for restoring surface texture and profile to worn pavement,” said Dave Trane, town highway superintendent. He noted the affected roads may be marked as “Local Traffic Only” until the process is cured.”

“We apologize for any inconveniences incurred due to this project,” Trane said.
