Buffalo History Museum celebrates 20th year of annual local art auction

The Buffalo History Museum will host the 20th annual “Paint the Town” event from 5:30- 8:30 p.m. May 16. “Paint the Town” brings regional artists, art collectors and passionate museum supporters together to raise funds for the museum through live and silent auctions featuring local art.

“Paint the Town” is a collaborative event, bringing the artistic community, including artists, studios, and galleries, together. Artists and institutions that are participating so far include Bruce Adams, Joyce Africano, Peter Ahrens, Paul Alico, Jeffrey Barnes, Byron Brown III, Benjamin Gallery, Dennis Bertram, Melissa Brown, Joe Cascio, Joyce Cromwell, Corey Fabian-Barrett, Peter Fowler, A.J. Fries, Deborah Hill, Judy Hodge, Lin Xia Jiang, Koenig Arts Studio, Philip Kuznicki, Gary Kyte, Elizabeth Leader, Meibohm Fine Arts Gallery, MJ Myers, Fran Noonan, Nancy J. Parisi, John Salmeri, Linda Toomey, Joe Vollan, Rebecca Wing and Scott Wood.

Tickets for the event are $50 for members, $75 for general admission and $150 for patron. The patron experience includes a champagne reception and tequila tasting sponsored by Pernod Ricard USA.
