On April 17, Jacob Peplowski, a senior at Niagara-Wheatfield High School was honored at the Erie-Niagara Sunrise Exchange Club meeting.
Peplowski was given the A.C.E Award (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence). This award recognizes students who have overcome challenges in their lives to achieve personal success.
Peplowski was awarded a plaque and a $250 scholarship. He will attend Niagara County Community College in the fall.
