McGuire Development Co. on Wednesday told The Sentinel that 765 Fairchild Place is on track to open as scheduled. Construction is almost complete at the luxury apartment complex, located at the site of the former Fairchild Manor in the Village of Lewiston.
Marketing Director Megan Tafelski said, “We will be receiving our (certificate of occupancy) May 1, and we have tenants that will actually be moving in on the date. Construction will be complete at the end of this month, and then the landscaping will also be completed by June 1. We plan to do the complete ribbon-cutting for this site in early June.
“Things are moving along just as we expected. Everything is on track – and the units are leasing up quickly.”
There are 23 apartment units within the three-story apartment complex on Onondaga Street, and six townhomes on the Fairchild Place side.
A press release sent earlier this year stated the development offers “state-of-the-art one- and two-bedroom apartment units, ranging from 1,000-1,500 square-feet, as well as two-bedroom townhouse units at 1,200 square-feet.” Garage space is also available.

765 Fairchild Place is McGuire Development Co.’s first project in Lewiston.
“I think we had a very good process,” Tafelski said. “We have a good relationship in Lewiston. … We were able to move things along just as we anticipated.”
