Sandra Lane Apartments 'Because We Care' speaker series

Wednesdays in April seniors can come to Sandra Lane Senior Apartments, 705 Sandra Lane, North Tonawanda, for the free “Because We Care” speaker series. Each speaker begins at 1 p.m.

April 3, Happier at Home

The folks from Happier at Home will be on site to talk about the services they provide to help people stay in their own homes longer. The group will give seniors a little extra help they may need. Attendees should come with questions to be answered. 

April 10, Easter egg coloring

Sandra Lane Senior Apartments attendees will have fun dying eggs with new creative ideas. Attendees are encouraged to be ready to have fun with funds. All are welcome/ Register by calling 693-0420. 

April 17, diabetes seminar – Wurlitzer Pharmacy

Attendees can learn about diabetes and ways to help themselves through Wurlitzer Pharmacy. Sign up for the upcoming four-week course to be held at Sandra Lane. 

April 24, Parkinson’s Foundation WNY

Chris Jamelle will talk about Parkinson’s disease, who it affects and how it is treated. He will also touch on advancements that have come from recent research.
