Save the date for a night of fine dining that supports the Niagara County Historical Society, as Lockport’s Shamus Restaurant presents the 14th annual “History Night,” Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 4:30-9 p.m. The restaurant will donate a portion of all proceeds raised that evening.

For this fundraiser, guests will order their dinner selections from the menu, as usual. Diners are asked to phone in their reservations directly to the Shamus at 716-433-9809.

Shamus offers a variety of contemporary cuisines. Dining rooms at the Shamus have an intimate, elegant feel, and the bar, with its traditional Irish décor, is a local Lockport favorite.

The Shamus was established in 1950 and has become a restaurant icon known throughout the Buffalo-Niagara region. Ann Murphy, owner of the Shamus since 1990, continues the long tradition of fine food, classic atmosphere and warm hospitality. The eatery is located at 98 West Ave., Lockport. It offers off-street parking.
