At the request of Newfane librarian Kris DeGlopper Bank, the proceeds from the annual book sale at The Winery at Marjim Manor will be donated to the Barker Free Library.
In addition to people purchasing books, donations of DVDs and VCR tapes have been made. Books are 50 cents for paperback, $1 for hardcovers, DVDs and VCR tapes; $5 a bag and $10 a box. More than $150 has already been turned into the library.
The sale takes place during regular winery hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays, and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. There are pictures of the variety of books on the winery Facebook page. For more information, call 716-778-7001.
The Winery at Marjim Manor is located at 7171 E. Lake Road, Appleton.
