On Jan. 10, Greater Niagara FCU hosted its first Charity Hockey Classic at Buffalo RiverWorks. The Greater Niagara FCU Lady Ghosts played the WNY Media All-Stars in an exciting game, with the Media All-Stars winning by 1 goal.
The game raised $2,000, which was donated equally to the Child Advocacy Center of Niagara at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and the Animal Food Bank of WNY.
Maddie Elia of the Buffalo Beauts played with the Lady Ghosts, while Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz also participated.
