Joy Kuebler Landscape Architect appoints Holberg, AICP

Joy Kuebler Landscape Architect PC recently announced the appointment of Eve Holberg, AICP, as a planner and project manager. In her new capacity, Holberg’s duties will include project management and collaboration, public outreach and facilitation, and report assembly, writing and editing.

“We are thrilled to welcome Eve to our staff,” said Joy Kuebler, president and CEO. “Eve is a very well-respected planner in Western New York, with a wealth of experience, and we are excited about JKLA’s growth potential with the addition of her expertise.”

Holberg is an award-winning urban planner with more than 25 years of experience across the U.S. and Canada. She has worked in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, where she managed a variety of projects, including economic development strategies, feasibility studies, corridor management, community revitalization and downtown redevelopment strategies, as well as comprehensive plans for communities of all sizes. Holberg is a former downtown manager and has developed a special expertise in heritage, recreation and scenic byway planning and tourism development strategies.

Holberg earned her bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism from Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and her master’s of urban planning degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and serves as a member of the executive board of the Upstate New York Chapter of the American Planning Association. 

A native of Canton, Holberg currently resides in North Buffalo.
