Niagara County is conducting a collaborative community health assessment (CHA) to understand the health needs and concerns of its communities.

“We are aiming to discover how to best serve our citizens and improve the health of Niagara County,” Public Health Director Daniel Stapleton explained.

The Niagara County Department of Health is working closely with local hospitals and community partners to identify priority areas to build a plan to improve local health.

“We want current feedback from the people who live here, so our priorities are aligned with what's important to you now,” Stapleton said. “We want to know what really matters to each person whose life we can impact, and we urge all Niagara County residents to complete the health survey.”

Stapleton is asking Niagara County residents to take between five and 10 minutes to complete the confidential community health survey at https://goo.gl/rrQWmb. The web link is also available on the Niagara County Department of Health website at www.niagaracounty.com/health.

“Please share your thoughts and help make a difference in the lives of people you care about in Niagara County,” the health department stated.
