Brendon Lauer, a 10th-grade student from Starpoint, has attained the rank of fourth-degree black belt in tae kwon-do at Jong Park Institute on Erie Avenue, North Tonawanda, after passing his testing on Saturday, Dec. 15.
Brendon has been attending Jong Park since the age of 5. Brendon is also a junior varsity goalie for Starpoint, and continues to remain on the honor roll. In his free time, Brendon volunteers as a junior firefighter at Adams Fire Co. Brendon’s parents are Donald Lauer and Karen Sinon, of Wheatfield.
