50-plus local vendors, live music and Community Beer Works bring life to vacant spaces
As part of Jingle Falls USA 2018, the second annual LiveNF Makers Market is coming to 310 and 324 Niagara St., on Saturday. LiveNF will create a one-day shopping experience featuring artists, artisans and crafters from Niagara Falls and the Greater Western New York area.
310 Niagara St., the former Niagara Gazette building, is currently being renovated by Ellicott Development, while 324 Niagara St., will soon be home Community Beer Works.
"We welcome the community to meet these great local vendors, experience two buildings in transition, and take in all of the Jingle Falls events," said Phil Mohr, president of the LiveNF board of directors.
The full vendor list, ranging from pottery to clothing, is available at livenf.com/makersmarket/.
The LiveNF Makers Market will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with live music by The Current from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. All street and surface lot parking in downtown Niagara Falls is free on Saturday as part of Jingle Falls USA. Patrons are encouraged to check out all of the holiday events in close walking distance to the market. The schedule is available at jinglefallsusa.com.
LiveNF was founded in 2012 as an opportunity to help young people discover, rediscover and start living in the City of Niagara Falls. LiveNF seeks to bring residents together through events, social media and shared experiences.
