George J. and "Penny" Annette (Zarbo) Panepinto recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
To mark the occasion, a mass was celebrated at St. Stephen R.C. Church followed by a series of events retracing memories with an excursion to Parkside Candy Co., lunch at Chef's Restaurant and dinner at Morton's The Steakhouse.
The Grand Island couple was united in marriage on Nov. 22, 1958, at Holy Angels R.C. Church, Buffalo.
George is still active as president of Pinto Equipment Inc. of Buffalo, a heavy equipment contracting service. Penny, a retired officer of Pinto, is a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
George and Penny Panepinto have eight children, 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
