Wilsey elected president of SUNY Two Year Engineering Science Association

Jillian Wilsey, instructor of engineering science and engineering studies program coordinator at Niagara County Community College has been elected as the president of the SUNY Two Year Engineering Science Association. 
Wilsey was appointed to this position at the annual fall meeting, which took place Nov. 1-2 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy.  Wilsey has a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from San Diego State University, and master of science in mechanical engineering from the University at Buffalo and an master of education from the University at Buffalo.   
TYESA is an organization comprised of members from institutions of higher education in New York state that grant an associate in science degree in engineering science and adhere to TYESA's curriculum guidelines.  The organization also sponsors an annual drone competition that is held in the spring at Monroe Community College.  For more information about TYESA, and to view drone competition videos, visit: https://www.tyesa.org/.
