Boy Scout Troop 829 welcomes voters and passersby to its hot dog fundraiser on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6. The event will run from 5-9 p.m. at the St. Peter's R.C. School parking lot on North Sixth Street (across the street from the Lewiston No. 1 Fire Co. polling station).
The boys are working to raise money to make improvements to their camping-supply trailer.
In addition to walk-up customers, drive-thru is also an option by following the arrows in the school parking lot.
The prices will be as follows: Sahlen's hot dog: $2; drinks: $1; bag of chips: $1; package deal (two hot dogs, chips and drink: $5 - a $1 savings).
The Troop, which is comprised of 18 boys in sixth through 12th grades, thanks the community in advance for its support and looks forward to greeting them at the fundraiser next week.
