Mount St. Mary's expands services

Mount St. Mary's Hospital has expanded and relocated its cardiopulmonary services to a new first-floor location in the main hospital building on its Lewiston campus.
"We have experienced an increase in patients utilizing our cardiopulmonary services," hospital President and CEO Gary Tucker said. "We have invested in these new facilities and equipment to enhance this service."
Mount St. Mary's cardio-pulmonary diagnostic services encompass three major areas for diagnostic testing, including cardiology, pulmonology and neurology. Services are designed to quickly and comfortably identify cardiac, pulmonary and neurological disease so that appropriate treatment can begin as soon as possible. Specific diagnostic tests include: stress testing, echocardiograms, EKG, Holter/event monitoring, tilt table testing, pulmonary function testing, pulmonary stress testing, and EEG and EMG testing.
