Events at the Sanborn-Lewiston Farm Museum

The following is a list of events at the Sanborn-Lewiston Farm Museum:
Dedication ceremony of Treichler Building
A dedication ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. on Oct. 20 at the Sanborn-Lewiston Farm Museum, 2660 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn. The program will include a ribbon cutting for the building to celebrate the 1823 church and American Legion organization. Cake and coffee will be served in the Townsend Hall after the ceremony.
Sanborn Historical Society meeting
At 7 p.m. on Oct. 23, the Sanborn Area Historical Society will hold its regular meeting at Sanborn Firehall. A special program will be presented: "The Life & Times of WWI Major General Dennis Nolan of Akron." The presentation by Meri Dembrow is about Nolan, who was an intelligence and security officer for Gen. Pershing's staff. 
The public is invited; refreshments will be available at no charge, but donations are appreciated. For more information, visit www.sanbornhistory.org.
Ham Dinner 
From 4-7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, the Sanborn Area Historical Society will sponsor a ham dinner at the Farm Museum. Adult dinners cost $10; children age 5 to 12, $5; and kids under 4 eat free.
