The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University's annual fall fundraiser will return to the campus museum this year. "CAMfest" will take place from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19.
"Our special events committee, and many of our supporters, felt very strongly that the museum's major fundraising event belonged in our magnificent galleries. We are delighted to welcome the event back to our beautiful home," CAM Director Kate Koperski said.
Proceeds from the event will support programming for the Western New York community, including exhibitions, "Art Express" Family Workshops, museum tours, "Meet Me at the CAM," and scholarships to the celebrated "Kids 'n Arts" Summer Camp for children in need.
More than 20,000 people visit and participate in programming at the Castellani Art Museum each year.
The fundraising event will feature a silent auction with original artwork, fine jewelry, travel, theater, restaurant and sports packages. Guests are invited to enjoy an open bar, hors d'oeuvres, food stations and a gourmet dessert table as they mix and mingle. There will be plentiful open seating in the galleries. Live music will be provided by the Custode and Parisi Jazz Duo.
Tickets are $130 per person or $150 per patron, which includes a listing in the program. Call 716-286-8288 or reserve online at

Attendees are invited to visit the after-party from 9:30-11:30 p.m. at Gallo Coal Fire Kitchen, 800 Center St., Lewiston. There will be a cash bar and limited menu available.
CAMfest is presented by the Castellani Art Museum special events committee: Cathleen Blood, Robert Bloom, Kevin Castellani Bromley, Carla Castellani, Diane Castellani Bromley, Lyn Dyster, Michael Hibbard and Anthony Leone. Emeritus members are Anne Marie DiMino-Hepfer and Rose Gellman.
