New mural unveiled at International Peace Garden

A new mural titled "Peaces" can now be seen in the International Peace Garden at 476 Center St., Lewiston. This work of art is the latest creation by artist Thomas P. Asklar. He was assisted by artists Matthew Conroy, Zach Carlson, Matthew LeBoeuf and a few local high school art students.
"We wanted to make art accessible to the public, out of the museums and galleries, so that people can enjoy it in their everyday lives. Murals are a great vehicle for achieving this goal, and the best is yet to come!" Asklar said.
