Benefit for Derek Kirkendall at Gratwick Hose

Thu, Aug 16th 2018 04:50 pm
From 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18, a benefit for Derek Kirkendall will be held at Gratwick Hose Fire Co., 110 Ward Road, North Tonawanda.
Derek was recently diagnosed with a life-threatening AV malformation in his brain. He has undergone surgery to repair the area, but it has left him with left-sided paralysis. Derek had to learn how to walk and care for himself all over again. He has made great strides, but still has a long road ahead. Due to his condition, he has been unable to work and support his young family. Proceeds from the event will help the family.
Tickets for the event are $25, which includes food and drinks, as well as 50/50 raffles, auctions and live music.
To purchase tickets or to donate, contact Tiffany Ciurczak at 573-9464; Jerry Bowman at 716-228-9300; Nicole Galante at 716-713-9221; Penny Krzystek at 716-695-5207; or Cyndi Boswell at 716-390-9520.
