Senior trips in Wheatfield

The following is a list of trips being offered to Wheatfield seniors:
• Sept. 27-29- Cooperstown and Central New York Highlights
Trip includes visits to the Herkimer Diamond Mine sluicing, Fly Creek Cider Mill, Baseball Hall of Fame, The Farmers Museum, Saranac Brewery, Erie Canal Museum, two dinners and two breakfasts. Cost of the trip is $515.
• 8:15 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Oct. 9- Amish culture tour   
Travel to New York's Conewango Valley to peruse handmade Amish quilts, discuss Amish life at the Shoes-N-Boots shop, enjoy lunch at Zollinger's South Dayton Hotel, stop at a baked goods shop and learn how a horse is shod at a blacksmith shop. Cost of the trip is $56.
• 1:15 - 6 p.m.  Nov. 24- It was a wonderful life  
Visit Forest Lawn Cemetery and hear the preeminent residents such as Millard Fillmore and Dorothy Goetz Berlin, wife of Irving Berlin, tell the story of how it was at Christmas during their lifetimes. Following the musical performance, dinner will be at the Hamlin House.  Cost of the trip is $76.
• 10:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.  Dec. 4- An All-American Christmas
Enjoy lunch at Salvatore's Italian Gardens, then enjoy the  music of Nashville recording artist Ricky Lee for an uplifting holiday show.  Cost of the trip is $67.
