The St. Francis Guild auxiliary of Mount St. Mary's Hospital will hold its 38th annual Pink Elephant Auction from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Niagara Crossing, 100 Center St., Lewiston.
Proceeds raised from this year's event will be directed to the Mount St. Mary's Hospital Foundation and dedicated to several initiatives, including new surgical tools, two new operating room tables, LED operating room lights and various scopes and equipment.
There will be 25 major prize baskets and a silent auction. Tickets are $50 per person. A limited number of tickets are still available while donations and gift items are still being accepted.

Lewiston resident Mary Furlong was named the chairwoman of the Pink Elephant Auction.
"This is our 38th year and we have revised the event to make it even more enjoyable," she said. "Our entire guild is busy gathering support for the event in what we promise will be an enjoyable evening."
