On Friday evening, July 27, Town of Porter resident Eric Olds-Reid, 37, was the victim of a tragic ATV accident on Youngstown Wilson Road. He was taken via Mercy Flight to ECMC in Buffalo, where he succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
Eric left behind a wife, Tanya Reid, and children: Kaylee and Kiara Olds, Natalie and Kelly Cleveland, Kaden Smith and Nakoda Olds. He is also survived by his parents, Drew and Kathy Olds; a brother, Justin; a nephew; a cousin; and many friends.
The Eric's Angels Benefit will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at the 3F Conservation Club, 904 Swann Road in Lewiston. Friends are invited to attend this event in memory of Eric. It is taking place on his birthday to benefit his wife and children.
"We don't know where to go from here, but we do know that their family is going to have so many financial struggles, just to put him to rest and survive with supporting his kids," said Ashley Olds. "Please join us on Eric's birthday to benefit his wife and children."
An Eric's Angels GoFundMe account with a goal of $10,000 has also been established in Eric's name to assist his wife and family at this time. To contribute, visit https://www.gofundme.com/eric039s-angels.
