Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers

The Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers to help with construction of a home in Niagara Falls. The immediate need is for anyone who is able to work on framing and siding or can be trained in these crafts.
Volunteer opportunities for construction are currently available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. If interested, visit www.niagarahabitat.org. Click on the volunteer tab at the top, read the safety information and watch a brief training video.
Once completed, one will be able to choose dates and times to volunteer using the VolunteerUp! button. Be sure to print, read and sign the volunteer waiver and bring it to your first volunteer session.
About Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity
Since its inception in December of 1993, Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity has built 27 new homes and completed six house rehabilitations for residents of Niagara County. Most home construction has taken place in Niagara Falls or North Tonawanda. Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity focuses its building priorities in Niagara County.
