On Thursday, New York State Sen. Robert Ortt announced he will host a forum to address the heroin and opioid epidemic that has impacted families and crippled local communities. Ortt expects to be joined by Assemblyman Angelo Morinello; New York State Sen. Chris Jacobs, who is co-chair of the State Senate Heroin & Opioid Addiction Task Force; Niagara County Sheriff James Voutour, Niagara-Wheatfield School District Superintendent Dan Ljiljanich, Niagara County Mental Health Services Director Laura Kelemen and Niagara County Legislator Rebecca Wydysh.
