Help fund Fourth of July fireworks

Sat, Jun 30th 2018 07:00 am
Each year, the Village of Lewiston organizes a grand Fourth of July fireworks display, which is enjoyed by residents from all over the River Region.
The municipality also shoulders most of the expense.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to consider a donation to offset some of the cost. Funds can be sent to the clerk's office inside the Red Brick Municipal Building, 145 N. Fourth St.
This year, fireworks will take to the sky at dusk on Wednesday, July 4. For more information, call 754-8271.
Other local events include:
•The Olcott Patriots Parade begins at noon on Wednesday at Krull Park. The free event includes carousel rides and ice cream.
•Fireworks will also be on display in Olcott/Newfane on Tuesday, and above Niagara Falls nightly, now until Wednesday.
