The Center for Women at Mount St. Mary's Hospital will provide a special prenatal fitness and childbirth education program known as "Dancing for Birth." The session is free and open to the public and will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, June 11, in Room 249 at the main hospital building in Lewiston.
"Dancing For Birth" is the leading global class for pregnant and new moms. It provides feel-good prenatal fitness, essential birth wisdom, and celebration of pregnancy, birth and mothering, all rolled into a class that supports women from preconception to postpartum.
"Dancing is a fun and gentle exercise that everyone can enjoy, even if you've been told you have two left feet!" said Director of Maternity Services Maryann Cogdill. "This is the perfect time to connect with your body and your baby through movement and awareness."
