Fatima Shrine hosts exhibit on life of St. Thérèse

The National Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima invites area residents to its new exhibition dedicated to the life of St. Thérèse. Titled "Thérèse of Lisieux: Burning With Love," the exhibit opened Friday and continues with viewing offered from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Friday, May 18, at 1023 Swann Road, Lewiston.
The exhibition is hosted by Our Lady of Fatima and sponsored by the Diocesan Shrine of St. Thérèse of the Infant Jesus, Quebec, Canada.
The Rev. Fr. Réjean Lessard, rector of the Shrine of St. Thérèse, will serve as guest speaker for the opening weekend. His scheduled programs include "The Canonization of SS. Louis and Zelie Martin" (the parents of St. Thérèse) at 2 p.m. Saturday and "The Little Way of St. Thérèse" at 3 p.m. Sunday.
The exhibit, on display in the Basilica, features the relics of St. Thérèse's parents during the opening weekend, as well as a relic of St. Thérèse for the duration of the exhibit.
