The 23rd annual Lewiston Family Spring Fling will be a way to celebrate winter's end (we hope), and a time to renew old friendships - and make new ones. The rain-or-shine event will run from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, May 6, outside the Red Brick Municipal Building on North Fourth Street. It is sponsored by the Village of Lewiston Recreation Department.
The Spring Fling committee has kept all of the favorite events this year and brought in several new ones. Activities open with the Lewiston Kiwanis Club and Lewiston Service Guild 1-mile run for youth ages 14 and under. Registration will start at 11:30 a.m. at the Onondaga Street end of the Red Brick. The race will start at 12:30 p.m. and is all on flat ground. New this year, participants can pre-register for the race online at
www.villageoflewiston.net.

Activities at the event include a petting zoo, Putt-Putt golf, face painter, balloon sculpture as well as Bounce-n-Around bounce house.
