Earth Day 2018: Scouts contribute to cleanup success

The Tuscarora Heroes Garden Mob was out in force last Saturday for the annual spring cleanup. More than 30 volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help get the pocket park ready for the new season.
The Scouts from Lewiston Pack 855, which meets at the First Presbyterian Church in Lewiston, wore their orange T-shirts and made a big impact on ensuring a successful effort. Participating were Scouts Reid Pollak, Simon Zawistowski, Andrew Seguin, Tony Seguin, Robert Tomlinson, Joe Tomlinson, John Tomlinson, Logan Wall and Austin Wall, along with den leaders Keith Pollak, Paul Tomlinson and Dave Seguin.
Other volunteers came from What's the Point Ministries and included James, Cooper and Isabella Harasimowicz. Still more volunteers participating included Bill and Teresa Peek, Tom Collister, Victor Eydt, Bruce Sutherland, Skip and Pam Hauth, Pete Henderson and Susan Geissler, Al Swavy, Doreen Albee, Lee Simonson, Greg Gima, Jennifer Rossman, Jennifer and Caitlyn Stockinger, Brian Beebe, and Rocco and Carla DelGrosso.
The volunteers thanked Warren's Village Hardware for donating needed supplies.
