Porter Historical to meet

The Town of Porter Historical Society invites residents to its monthly meeting and program, at 7 p.m. Monday, April 16, in the Cora Gushee Room of the Red Brick Village Center, 240 Main St., Youngstown.
Featured will be a discussion, "The foils and follies of Mother Nature when your life's work is Farming," by Tom Tower, current farmer-in-chief of the Tower family. The society notes this family has just marked its 200th year of farming in the Town of Porter.
