The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, which operates a food panty at the St. Leo's parish hall on Military Road, will hold a meat raffle benefitting food panty services at 6 p.m. Friday, April 13.
The price to attend is $5, which includes a roast beef sandwich, pizza, chips and a beverage. Each ticket also includes a chance at winning one of six baskets.
All proceeds go to the food panty and charity.
The St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry serves clients in need of food on a monthly basis and during the holidays. Over the past Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, the pantry served 329 families - for a total of 1,059 people - with food and gifts for their children.
St. Vincent de Paul has teamed up with the Beta Sigma Phi sorority to run the meat raffle.
