Goodwill of Western New York announced construction is almost complete at its new retail store and donation center in the I-190 Plaza, 6530 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls - near the Fashion Outlets of Niagara mall. The 11,000-square-foot store and donation center is Goodwill of Western New York's 12th location, but first in Niagara Falls. The store will employ 15 staff members.
In addition to retail space, the Niagara Falls location will feature a conveniently located drive-up donation center where donors can drop off their gently used clothing and merchandise.
The grand opening of the Niagara Falls location is slated for 9 a.m. Thursday, April 12. A ribbon-cutting will be held at 9:30 a.m.
"We're excited to bring this brand-new store and donation center to Niagara Falls and are looking forward to being part of this community," said DeWayne Cuffie, vice president of retail sales and donated goods. "We want shoppers and donors to know that their donations and purchases support Goodwill's workforce development programs that help individuals with barriers to employment find work to support themselves and their families. So when you shop, you're not the only one who gets a great deal!"
