The Rotary Club of Lockport is hosting its annual cash raffle at 6 p.m. Friday, April 20.
A few changes have been made to this annual fundraiser, including a change in venue. This year the "Rotary Raffle" will be held at the Lockport Town and County Club, 717 East Ave.
For $125 per couple, guests will be treated to an evening of elegant cuisine, music by Kevin Clark, a cash bar, and a chance to win $2,500, $500 or $250. In addition, there will also be a basket raffle, spilt club and a special drawing for a piece of jewelry from Mills Jewelers.
The money raised by this annual raffle supports Lockport Rotary Club's scholarship fund. The Rotary Club of Lockport awards a local student $2,000 per year for a four-year college education. In addition to this, the Rotary Club of Lockport also provides a local student seeking a vocational education $2,000 per year for two years.
Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change. The Rotary Club of Lockport is dedicated to promoting the mission of organization within this community, and to improve lives at both the local and international levels.
